My son's frog

My son caught a frog a common frog that is on the ground around our garden. My son has been catching crickets and grasshoppers and feeding the frog and it is eating them up in half a second. I put my finger up to the tank and he smacked the glass trying to eat it. I want the frog to be comfortable and dont want it to be hungry so I am afraid that he is not getting enough. I have to get tp the petshop and get some food for the little guy before he or she attacks me in the middle of the night! lol
