That is really great to know. I have read about them eating cat and dog biscuits so I am soaking some to try now and hope it works. I was surprised that my southern bell frogs were eating the oxygen weed I put in their water for them to swim under. I am definitely going to try the fruit and veges now as well. I give my tiny little brown tree frogs wingless fruit flies, crickets ordinary flies now they are bigger.
My southern bell frogs eat flies we catch in fly traps, small woodlice, crickets, and even some maggots,,,, yuk...
We also catch small insects with a fish net by scooping it through the grass. Buying insects in New Zealand is expensive.
Thanks for your information.
