Blind frog

by Lirie
(South-Africa)

So, there's this little frog outside our front door that has been there for days near the tap, we keep him as wet as possible but I'm afraid he might not be able to catch any food because of his blindness. I'm concidering getting him a tank and keping him as a pet if its necesary... Any advice?

I think it would be great if you set up a tank for him. Wingless flies from the pet shop are a good source of food. If he's big enough. crickets, meal worms and anything else you read on the net. branches and a dish of water he can get in and out of. Would love to know if he can get his food alright even though he's blind.
