catching frogs

by Duvall

I've just started catching frogs! There are a lot of frogs around my neighborhood. And some of them get squished and stuff, so I thought they should have a home or something. When I try to catch them they just hop away so I decided to lure them with food.

catching frogs

Please post how successful the frog catching is. I read that a frog has to want to come into your garden, and if it isn't frog friendly, he won't stay.

I have put down frog resting stones, and I learned that they like a pail lying sideways and buried halfway into the soil so they can snuggle.

I love my garden creatures, and I always watch for frogs. I usually get some toads but, so far I haven't seen any. I am so happy when I do and we are VERY careful not to mow them down.
