My Sisters Frog "Freddie"

by Megan Brownie
(Bridgend)

My sister was with my dad mowing the lawn, when they came accross a small frog. My sister didn't want to leave it there, so she decided to keep it. She named it Freddie. Freddie has been living with us for about a week now, and she wants to keep it forever! She has filled our old sandpit with water, and put in rocks and leaves and other various items for Freddie to live in. When she is finished playing with Freddie, she puts on the lid, and leaves it open a crack so he can breath easily. We've had practically the whole street over looking at Freddie, and she loves the attention! We feed him woodlice, spiders and slugs, his favourite food, and we've noticed he's had some frog spawn! Hopefully they'll be born soon!
