Tiny frog/toad?

My daughter caught a frog or toad about the size of a dime in my friends backyard. We brought it home and got a little aquarium and some baby crickets at the petstore and put some water in it, but so far he seems like he doesn't want to eat or drink, just wants to get out. We put some leaves and grass in there also. Any suggestions?
